コロムビアの高級受信機。国民型2号が公定価格2,310円に対して17,000円もした。6WC5がない時代に短波を安定に受信するため、UY-76で局発、Ut-6L7Gで混合というコンバーターの形式になっている。また、バリミュー管の6D6の生産歩留まりが悪く、供給が不足していたため6C6が使われている。第2号の電蓄、RG-83と高周波部はほぼ共通である。
This set was Columbia’s high grade all wave radio.
The price was about 6 times of standard TRF set.
Ut-6L7G and 76 was used as converter and local oscillator.
This was typical circuit of Japanese all wave radio at this era.
Because quality of Japanese 6A7 was poor to use short wave receiving.
This set used 6C6 instead of 6D6. Variable mu tube like 6D6 was difficult to manufacture and supply was limited.
Chassis was similar to radio phonograph Model GR-83 (Passed No. No.2).
本機は新品未使用品と思われる。
非常に状態がよく、キャビネット外周には梱包用の保護紙が付いたままである。
This example kept very good condition (may be dead stock).
