東京無線電機の長野県に疎開した工場が生産した,普及型と称する小型の5球スーパー。ダイヤルが上に付いたデザインは、終戦直後に流行した。低価格の中波専用5球スーパーが求められた時代の製品である。戦後すぐのモデルらしく、コンバータに6A7を採用し、6C6のプレート検波という、入手しやすい真空管を使った設計である。パーマネント型スピーカに12Fの整流でありながら、出力管が42というのも、新型管の6Z-P1が長野県では入手しにくかった可能性がある。拡声器も作っていた東京無線電機では42は持っていたのかもしれない。
本機のツマミは失われている。IFTかコイルに故障があったらしく、多くの終戦直後の5球スーパー同様、スター製の455kcのIFTを使って全面的に改造されている。
This small, popular-type five-tube super-radio was produced by Matusiro
Tokyo Musen Co., which was evacuated to Nagano Prefecture. The design with
the dial on top became popular just after the WW II. It was a product of
an era when low-cost five-tube super-radio radios dedicated to medium wave
radios were in demand. As it is a model produced just after the war, it
is designed using readily available vacuum tubes, with a 6A7 converter
and a 6C6 plate detector. Despite having a permanent speaker and 12F rectification,
the output tube is a 42, which may be because the new 6Z-P1 tube was difficult
to obtain in Nagano Prefecture.
The knobs are missing. There appears to have been a problem with the IFT
or coil, so like many of the 5-tube Supers made just after the war, it
has been completely rebuilt with a 455kc IFT.
